Five easy to care for indoor house plants

Indoor house plants have become essentials in urban living, bringing touches of nature into your humble abode. But not all of us have the time to create a lavish indoor garden and water it every day. Thankfully, there are some easy to care for indoor house plants that will have you spending less time watering and more time enjoying the view.

1. Umbrella Tree / Schefflera

The umbrella tree, or Schefflera is tall, green and perfect for any corner. The umbrella tree is actually a tree, as the name suggests, but we had had plenty of success taking cuttings from our larger tree and placing into smaller indoor pots. These umbrella trees do well indoors by a window, and will tolerate if you forget to water them every once in a while.
